A message to those in areas affected by the recent hurricanes
To our friends, students, and so many that we have met throughout the years –
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
The only thing more beautiful and powerful than an unleashed, unstoppable storm (be it a hurricane, tornado, typhoon, or whatever the atmosphere throws at us), is the power of mankind to persevere.
We can no more stop an unleashed disaster than can human nature be stopped from being there for each other, to care for others who can’t care for themselves, and to pick up and rebuild for those who are paralyzed from their losses.
No natural disaster is more powerful than a human’s nature to care for each other. May that bond never change.
